The Foundations of Normativity Workshop, hosted by the University of Edinburgh, showcases new work from philosophy, law, and politics on normativity. The 2016 workshop will take place June 13-14 with presentations from James Dreier (Brown University), Arash Abizadeh (McGill University), John Gardner (University of Oxford), Kimberley Brownlee (University of Warwick), plus four papers selected by abstract. CALL FOR PAPERS
We welcome submission of papers for pre-read and short presentations at the FoN2 Workshop in Edinburgh June 13-14, 2016. To be considered, please submit (i) a full paper, and (ii) an abstract of no more than 750 words (not including references) to matthew.chrisman@ed.ac.uk with the subject “FoN2 submission” by Feb. 1, 2016. Please send pdfs. The abstract should be prepared in a separate file and suitable for blind review; please use papertitle+abstract as the filename of the abstract.
The programme committee aims to make selections by April 1. Circulable versions of the papers will be due on June 1, 2016.
Four of these papers will be selected for pre-read and presentation at the FoN2 Workshop in Edinburgh. There will be limited travel bursaries available for some of the selected participants, with preference given to those without access to research funds from their home institutions.
